I think you may be missing a subtle point regarding crew. They arent listing every crewman in the crew statistic. Bismarck: 2,092 crew 84/28 crew Stat I don't think they are saying there are no casualties, just not critical personnel lost without crits/fires. That's my take on it.

No nor do they get any aircraft. Leads me to think they didnt support naval operations with air.

This came up last night and I'd like a clarification. Do you have to move at least half your speed score as listed for the vessel, or half your current speed which could be as little as an inch before makin a turn? I had the Schrnhorst tooling along at 1" to keep the distance from closing too...
