I'm making up a new character for Conan and had a question.
Does a Shemite's -1 to all saves impact on his Initiative bonus (which is based on his REF save modifiers)? I'm guessing yes... though it seems silly.
I'm at work and don't have my Conan book handy but need the ability score modifiers for Turanians (I don't think that they have any) and Zamorians (+2 DEX, -2 CON?).

I'm 33 and started D&D at the age of 11, having never read Tolkien or other works of fantasy.
I've never really given Conan a look at until last year and was more of a Fritz Leiber fan (actually I still am... sorry to blaspheme).
When a character "rages" in Conan (either through the Crimson Mist ability or Fighting Madness feat) they incur a -2 penalty to Defense Value. At the same time the character's +4 to Strength imparts a +2 bonus to Parry.
Would an "enraged character" have a net +0 to Parry and a -2 to Dodge or...

The best reason to stick/work together is to achieve a common goal. Avoiding death and dealing out revenge are 2 damn good ones to hold us together.
I just hope that my character doesn't get sacrificed by Akriphon so that he may achieve that goal!
