    I didn't say they can not get it. I said it's not broken on an oracle and it is a poor choice in general. You could take the anti fighter missile or the tripple damage missile. The most tractial choice tends to be the Flash Missile. AP DD Precise 20" good all rounder.

    You referring to the Tethys-class Laser Boat (Variant)? Your concerned about a ship that can only take 6 damage? Well effectivly 12 I guess.

    If you think that is broken you must think half the ships in the game are broken. Psi Corp gets little to nil use of a E-mine and I wouldn't ever chose to take a one shot weapon over a every turn weapon.

    Well under the new rules the 2 4 1s will have to go into squadron but that doesn't mean they have to stay in squadron as such so....

    The only things in the patrol level area i find scary are the vorlon fighters and blue star. 241s are usually very poor ships and don't take much hammer.

    I still dont buy into the number of AD balancing it of at all. And that brings you to the range argument bigger ship better hull could have better turrets with longer range yet the same weapon :P

    they would operate 6 different models because smaller ships wouldn't have the POWER that bigger ships do! It's really simple when you think about it the more power a ship has the faster the batteries can fire and for longer and so on and so on.

    Well more crew means more damage control teams surly as a WAR class ship would expect to take some hammer.

    perhapes we should look at it the other way then rather than trying to lower the number of crits inflicted have more affective damage control. and allow things to be repaired in the same turn they are suffered.
