Travellers, can we talk about the new damage and critical mechanics from the Vehicle Handbook '26? I think they're kind of amazing. I'm curious if this is on the radar for making it into a High Guard update. Thoughts?
I haven't created my own table... yet. I'm asking if Mongoose has any interest in adapting the vehicle critical system to spaceship combat. From Arkathan's comment it seems like there is... :D
So I've been creating a few vehicles using the book. And while I haven't play-tested anything, so far I think the relationship between critical hits and structure is very very cool. What would stop us from using this mechanic for spaceship combat? Would I need to re-think the critical hit table...
