    Starline 2500 Klingon D17 -- Exploratory concept

This is amazing! I am looking forward to the other angles, but even with just the one top view I already want a whole fleet of them.

    Brilliant & simple, that's a winning combination.

I second this question, they look amazing!

    Assembling Federation ships

Any sort of superglue works well, resin loves it. Just be aware that it sets more quickly than it will with metal models. I use zap-a-gap with no problems.

Pictures of Klingon Squad box after cleaning(pict Heavy)

Mine were pretty similar and I used hot water to fix the bent wings. It works really fast, faster than other resins I've had to straighten. About 2 seconds in water that was freshly boiled, straighten, then run under cold water to instantly fix it in place.

[SF] Ship building & positive resin properties

Finally got around to breaking out the Xacto blades and files tonight and I am happy to discover some positive properties of the resin that Mongoose uses. It can be filed quite handily. I am used to other resin models that cannot be filed without destroying a ton of detail. It reacts easily...

    Painting Star trek Miniatures

WAW - Tread Head mod question ...

Thanks for the kind words Rich. I find the easiest trick is to simply use cotton torn into small chunks placed behind each track or rear wheel. You can spray it brown or tan depending on the terrain you play on.

    Fire Teams

Well that is a good point you bring up, and honestly I've always thought it a bit silly that there wasn't a specific rule for rejoining fireteams. In your example the squad leader allows his stray squaddies to act again when he moves to bring them inside his command range. The reason it...

    My first tank

I love the sound of that! Just wipe it off? What will they think of next? :) I think maybe I'll try this and some MIG pigments would be a good step in advancing my painting skills. Thanks RobF, great info.

    Fire Teams

The rules don't disallow me from winning on the roll of a 2-6 either. :rolls: Ok, you got lucky this time, I rolled a 1. ;) In my experience "the rules don't say I can't" is not a good excuse to do something and when in doubt, use the less powerful of two people's perspectives on the rules.
