Yes, they do. The small bases are 32mm and are £0.50 for 2. The larger 60mm bases are £0.75 for 2.

Centauri or Earth, either are good for starting with. Narn are also quite good to start with as well. Avoid Vree until you have some experience. They look good but go bang very easily compared with the other fleets and they also have more special rules.

How about JP bombing a station... It's immobile and can't move so you could potentially create several JPs on top of it. That would actually be kind of cheesy though, thinking about it and pretty unfriendly! It would though be an easier way to win planetary assaults when a station is present.
