I got that e-mail too from Amazon.com (US). I just cancelled my order to keep things simple. Amazon is not always accurate regarding release dates, so I would say just keep an eye out, especially at other vendors. Chances are the book will be getting released sooner than that.

I prefer the original 2nd edition cover of Conan grappling the ape-man, especially since I have the softcover Conan book with the picture it seemed to be based on. I can see how there might have been copyright issues, though. That elderly Aesir(?) in the lower left corner does look like a dwarf.
