IS Age Of Dreadnougth Compatible to VAS?

It´s great also that you are preparing a version for the Spanish American War. I know that the Spanish Fleet was really outdated but I´m use to play with looser armies, and I think that with some luck and some maneouvers, we can, at least, be an interesting oponent.

Hello: As a great fan of the rules Victory on the Rivers by DM, I think it should be interesting to share here pictures of our ironclads, as nobody paints the same ship with the same colours. 1.- Here is the USS BENTON: [/img] 2.- The CSS Fredericksburg and CSS Albermarle at dock. [/img]

    American Civil War Naval Battles

Great!!! I will test these ranges as soon as possible. I hope that now it will be necessary to tink twice before launching the ironclads against a well organized line of guns.

    American Civil War Naval Battles

Hello everybody. I have been playing some test games with the rules from DM, Victory on the Rivers, and also the game published in Signs and Portents, Iron Thunder. Both games are really good, but I prefer the firs one, Victory on the Rivers. This set has more ship stats than the other one...

    Age of Dreadnoughts Nears Completion

Hi In my club we are using a version of VaS for the age of Sail, qith some home rules and some rules "inspired" from other rules sets. It is a really bloody game, with really fun and fst battles, being really difficult to destroy a ship with gunnery or boarding it, but with an interesting...

    Kongo Ryoju and Kageros

The carrier is really nice, I know nothing about the japanese fleet, but I have painted the dutch vessels and are going to buy the japanese ones. The colours of the carrier are geat, with a great contrast between gey, breen and brown. I love it.

Feed back on scenario in S&P 52

I think that it´s a good one. I haven´t tryed it yet because I´m still waiting for my OOB. but I will do it as soon as I can. I think that the allocation points are well distributed, and that the rules for the anchored fleet are good for making of them a good target for the surprise attack.

    Iron Thunder

In the new Sign & Portents (nº 52) there are new rules for playing the ACW on the rivers. Being that one of my favourite gaming options, I would like to know the differences between Iron Thunder and Victory on the Rivers, the one I use now. Were they developped by the same team? It´s...
