I picked the WWII scheme but that's because I think it will look better if you hit them with a drybrush of light tan. The pattern is too specific at the moment but with the lighter drybrush effect on top of it the camo will really pop. I like the black but everyone is doing the black. Just my...

Well, after GOMC-1 got the SST treatment I'm hoping for a little of the same for B5.
I'm kinda hoping for that too. I'd like a smaller skirmish sized game more than vast armies, but I'll take anything I can get.
If I recall correctly Joss Weadon said he got the idea for the series after reading The Killer Angles which is a novel about the last great battle of the American Civil War. That pretty much puts the origins in the realm of the western if not the execution. Since most of the heroes carry high...
I used scorpion green because it pratically glows all by itself. I'm not even sure if GW still make Scorpion Green paint but it's my favorite effect color for other worldly glow. Plus the eyes on the tanker in the movie were glowing green.
Works really nicely. Very simple and quick so you won't be spending the whole night looking up all the rules the first few times you play. Great for newbies too. Our game is going so much better than a Traveller version of the world we tried last year.
These figures are being made for the RPG. There is no Babylon 5 wargame at this time that will use the 25mm figes. War Without End uses really tiny figs(is it 6mm or 10mm?), and A Call To Arms uses ships only. (I suppose you could run some really wierd Gangs of Mega City 1 games though.)
I choose modern because I assume that it meant for modern to include Sci Fi, according to the thread title. Fantasy has been do to death in my group. On the other hand I know many people on this forum who are sick of all the new Sci Fi games so to each his own.
This is a great set. I'd love to get some more Blasters/Blisters and some more hoppers, and you can never have enough warriors. This is what I really wanted when I answered Carloss' post. It would also be a great set for the RPG crowd who want some minis for the games but have no intention of...
40 LAMI and Reliants win this one. The cap troopers are so easy to find from all the bug players who bought starter sets that no one seems to buy the Cap box sets as it is. If you need maruaders you usually buy them peice by peice. LAMI are the only figs for the MI that you need in vast...
I had to say the 20 warriors and a tanker because that makes the army box a better deal than more starter sets. Lots of people buy the starters just for the warriors. This combo would fill that desire and provide a bug you may need more than one of.
I'd buy either version of BSG. I'm not a fan of the new series but I know millions of other who would die to lay thier grubbies on a new RPG. I would be happy to have the new series as long as it has some info about the early war. Then I will have all the info for running the old series.
Finally some Vorlons. They were kinda hard to find from the Harliquin sets. Besides, they might have some other uses...
Like a TARDIS for Doctor Who.
Corner Decor found in Mega-City One apartments.
Cover for Mobile Infantry to shoot behind.
and the list goes on...
I'd look at modifying either the 2nd edition of Babylon 5 or Starship Troopers. I'd still use the starship stats from Star Wars, but there's a certain clumsiness to Star Wars. I was never able to overcome that when I ran the game.
Mongoose's OGL system runs faster and simpler. It's like they...
I'd agree with stevinator except that I'd want it to be OGL. That way it's the best of both worlds. Besides, most people who hate D20 have access to conversions to whatever system they want.
