Fewer Reserves in an entire sector than the UK does in National Parks? Roughly 17,000km2.
Imperial Reserves in Core Sector? Roughly over 200 million km2, counting only land area.
Seems like the Imperium has way more Reserve in 1 Sector than the UK does. Also, we are only aware of one type of...
Yeah, I noticed that you ditched the minimum 5-ton for jump equipment thing, but I never used to use that. I didn't mention it because IYTU the rules can be whatever you want them to be. I have started using the minimum tonnage rule for the last several years, but that is a relatively recent...
Yeah, IMTU Ship Shares are just counted as investment capital, so you can use them to buy commercial vehicles/equipment, such as Mining Bots.
I use this as my basis for allowing this change.
Law Level 0 seems to be a bit more than just that.
Seems like you'd need an armored firefight and military weapons to even get noticed by whatever the law is there.
Edit - Now I have to go see if I have the Third Imperium book... :P
This would mean that the pilot would always be making a Task Chain Pilot roll to add to the Gunner checks of his crewmates. Is that stated somewhere and I missed it? :(
Not sure if you want a vacation spot with LL 0. Even Acapulco, Mexico has some law and no one wants to go there anymore. lol
Edit - Also the wiki page suggests a strong separatist presence on the planet which could explain the government and law levels.
Is it a Task Chain? First the Pilot roll and then a modified Gunner roll at a -2 penalty for multiple actions?
It still seems weird. The pilot can only fire the turrets in a forward-facing position, like the fixed mounts, or can they be fired in any direction as is normal for turrets? It seems...
Just looking for opinions on what this world could look like. It is located at Core 1733 and is called Zimmel.
It seems to be an interesting world to me as it is in Core Sector and has no government and no law level, but it is a Garden World.
So, I am curious what all of your takes on what...
They totally could. You are right, but that wouldn't change the fact that it is two different skillsets, aiming by flying the craft and aiming by pointing a turret. One seems to be more about your ability to pilot the craft and the other seems more about the ability to use a turret.
Memorization is not understanding. If you have engineers who can't bridge two points, then are they really even engineers or are they just claiming to be engineers? The US educational system is designed to train drones, not creative thinkers. That is why most Americans can't think their way out...
For a game mechanic we need to consolidate things into a usable structure though, not just throw every bit of science at it and marvel at the mess we made. lol
