    Ambush scenario

Seems fairly straightforward to me (which is surprising for alot of the ActA rules). The rules state nothing about losing traits or defenses during the first turn, only their actions. As much as we'd love to 'interpret' the rules to match logic, let's be honest... its a minis game representing...

    Campaign Questions (And Random Points)

We've got: Psi Corp Gaim Earth Alliance (Crusade) Vorlon Centauri So 4 people that can roll that result, gotten 2 thus far about 5 turns in.

    Campaign Questions (And Random Points)

    1) Can a player decide NOT to attack something? The rules do not specifically disallow it, but with many rules I've found in ACTA its rather fuzzy 2) Other Duties: New Strategic Target Does this seem to be a real pain? Assuming the players are rolling any other duties you're going to see at...

So Matt, about those 10 ships....

Currently doing a campaign playing Psi-Corp, from the discussion on this thread and a couple of playtests on my end I've modified the 4 Darkstars I'm using accordingly: Reduce Slicer Beam to 10" Increase shields to 4/4 I compared to the existing whitestar and the shadow scout (its two closest...

    A shameless begging post...

Not me... I'm mostly just looking for Psi Corp stuff now that I have the majority of the Brahkiri I wanted. I wouldn't turn'em down if they appeared on my doorstep though!

So Matt, about those 10 ships....

Like I said, I'm gonna use 4 of them in a Psi Corp campaign fleet. We'll see how they perform over the course of the campaign. Though I guess my impressions will have to be posted on the new forums since thats gonna take awhile.

I think I'm going to try that, if it becomes to overpowered in the campaign I'll just nerf them. The biggest difference I'm seeing is that the shields make it harder to 'plink' to death, but without the adaptive armor things like Emines and Accurate guns rip it to shreds.

Meh, seemed only fair to give the Darkstar the same nerf. The fragility of the ship I think counter balances any advantages. Even fighters are a serious threat.

So Matt, about those 10 ships....

Rutarians are like Firebolts, you can pay 1 patrol point to replace up to 4 flights of Sentris or Raziks which is what my opponent did. That game definitely proved how fragile those ships are. If I use them in an upcoming campaign that includes the game I'm not sure if they'll survive. Right...

So Matt, about those 10 ships....

Oh I know, that was my initial impression tho. Upon further reflection the reduced range on the other guns I think means the Super AP is fine... gonna try to do another game today. Edit: Did another game, random roll: 6 Point Call to Arms Skirmish vs Centauri Opponent: 1 Liati, 1 Amar...

So Matt, about those 10 ships....

I did a playtest with the Psi Corp Dark stars tonight if anyone is curious. This is using them with a 10" range on the slicer, since the whitestar beam range was nerfed. 5 Point Raid, Call to Arms all ships starting on table Me: Hunter-Class Darkstar Darkstar Mothership Opponent: Apollo...

So Matt, about those 10 ships....

Well I'm going to be running a little 3 way campaign with my roomates just to try out some different fleets. One's playing Narn, the other Gaim. I was going to use Brahkiri but I might test out EA crusade using those Omicrons with the proposed changes and see how they perform. As for the Dark...
