    I always figured that the m drive has inertial compensation, and some anti grav lifters like a grav vehicle does, so that it can take off and land from planets with various gravity. The tonnage of the lifters and compensators is subsumed into the tonnage of the drive, and therefore not described.

    My thought, and YMMV, is that it would work best as a dispersed structure, so that the ship being worked on can be held at any angle as needed for repairs. If that doesn't appeal, then maybe a close structure with the yard at one end or in the center would work.

    For starship combat, it's not worth it unless you're moving very fast, snd it's still not worth it because you wasted millions of credits on a suicide attack. So usually it's best reserved for if you're losing badly, and the other side plans to wipe you out anyways.

    I might suggest a few lists where it's like the ones above, but the max TLs are TL10, TL11, TL12 and TL13. And then a note that the lower-TL items on the lists are manufactured at the same TL as the list, but the item hasn't otherwise changed from its TL of introduction. E.G., on a TL12 list...

    I'd add in veterinary specialist as a third option. Yes, replace Pilot, but with Electronics in general. Replace Vacc Suit with Flyer, but add in a note that a player could use it to gain vacc Suit skill or Pilot: Small Craft if they can sell the GM on a reason.
