    This will probably be regarded as heresy but I do away with cascade skills entirely. In MTU, an Engineer is an Engineer. This does not appear to have made the game less fun, quite the opposite in fact.

    Funnily enough I do have a Steward action to calm down stressed crew members. But that relies on using my stress mechanics which are not part of Traveller rules.

    The Traveller Companion contains a wealth of good stuff. I would wholeheartedly recommend it if you're looking for a Traveller experience across the whole range of possibilities.

    As I said in the OP, if you are just talking about two ships, or two groups of ships, and they are flying either directly away or directly towards each other, and there are no other complications, there is no maths beyond tracking a velocity. I would abstract it if it got any more complicated.

    Where can I find starship weapon trait descriptions? The particle barbette for the ship in Pirates of Drinax is described as 'accurate' and 'high yield' but I can't find these anywhere in the Core rulebook or High Guard.

    Passive radar/lidar

    I'm sure this must have been covered before, but... Surely there's no such thing as passive radar/lidar? Radar/lidar by definition need a transmission source, don't they? Shouldn't the passive radar/lidar column of the sensors table on p150 of the core rulebook be the same as the EM column?
