Also remember that it is the closest model to the firing unit, not to the center of the fire zone. Keep your leader towards the rear of the formation and it should help.

That's the way I read it.

I'm assuming you are talking about vehicles - It says on the unit card what can and cannot fire as a reaction - for example, on the M1A2 Abrams, under the "Armored" ability, it says that "The Abrams may never make any reactions except to Shoot with one MG and the M2" - so there is your answer...

PS: Can the SAS team be split into fire teams? There are two teams listed, but no "Fire Teams" rule listed on their cards (if I missed it somewhere, I'll just cop to being green to the game). Also, if you CAN split the SAS into two teams, can you set up two separated ambush points and deploy...
