I feel like I'm arriving late in the discussion but from reading through people's posts I think there's a potential divergence in the implementation of Intimidate in the rules and how we might percieve it in real life.
Clearly CHA is an undervalued attribute and I would be worried about...
I agree with Green Ronin as a good company (and I like the Mythic Vistas supplements) for new players.
I think the hardest group to move over for a new company would be players that have the Mongoose series of books and don't dislike D20. Arguably, the new company would face an even harder sell...
Thanks Nialldubh very helpful - I just can't believe given the commentary on these boards that this is the only officiasl errata that Mongoose ever put out???
I've just bought (but not yet received) the core rulebook and will be planning to use it for a Firefly/Serenity campaign. I was just musing on the myriad of supplements produced for Traveller and wondered which (if any) would be essential/suitable for roleplaying in the 'verse?
Wow the Travellers what a blast from the past. I definitely loved those comic strips in WD - who can forget the "Eye of the Hurricane" manoeuvre - LOL :)
The Travellers is for Traveller what the OotS is for D&D - pure genius!
I've just bought True20 Shadows of Cthulhu (but it's not yet arrived in the post) - I was wondering if anyone could let me know if this is purely a conversion for True20 to CoC or does it contain an adventure as well?
