Each race has it's own way of calculating saves. It's based on the "good save, poor save" idea. For instance, an Artificer demon has good Fortitude and Will saves, and poor Reflex save. A Deceiver demon has good Will and poor Fortitude and Reflex. Etc., etc. Check the Demon Breeds chapter...

I picked up mine. Great stuff. Love the Antagonists chapter! Plus there are tons of great plot hooks on every page, it seems like.

Steampunk is cool (and is what I voted for), but I also like Wild West.

You also add the difference between the DR roll and the Attack roll to damage, making a bad DR roll even more dangerous. I have a feeling this is a pretty deadly combat system.
