I'm probably going to start running this campaign in the next month or two and I'm thinking about gathering up some potential side quest material that can be dropped in along the way. I'm kicking around a couple of ideas of my own, but I'm curious if anyone who's familiar with JTAS can...
I'm thinking the next campaign I run will be a Traveller one, and I'm considering the 5th Frontier War adventures (in part because some of my likely players are already in a Drinax game and that GM plans on doing Deepnight next).
I'm trying to understand which books I should get. I've seen a...
Data import to create compendiums of skills and items (maybe more eventually) in Foundry from the core rulebook extract. I do plan to release them when they’re complete enough to be useful, but they’re one of 4 simultaneous programming projects I’m currently procrastinating on :)
I've kept the previous PDF version around so I'm good for the moment. Hoping to get some time over the next few weeks to make some progress on my macros, but I can use what I already have for that.
I'm kicking around the idea of running a short 2e campaign in the B5 universe and the old 1e B5 materials published for that universe might be a good jumping-off point. Are they still available for sale? They don't turn up in a search on the Mg products site.
There is an unofficial system available - it's pretty rudimentary (basically just a character sheet full of text boxes without any item types defined to drag onto it) but I'm hoping to run a one-or-two-shot in the not too distant future and it looks like it will work for now. Would love to have...
Looking forward to playing with this once there's a v12 release. (Though I suspect the v11 version will work under V12 with just some warning messages about upcoming deprecations.)
It appears that this isn't official in the "it includes compendiums of gear, etc. and Mongoose will be releasing...
If with the newlines you're referring to using them in place of the spaces where there are multiple inline values, it doesn't really matter for my uses as long as it's something I can do a clean string.split() on.
JSON would be great for folks working with JavaScript; probably not so much for...
Worked up a proof-of-concept macro to map equipment from this into items in Foundry. A finished product will require almost per-table logic, but nothing too complex. For instance, in a few cases like the armor table I tested on, it needs to know how to break up where the same item is listed...
I don't suppose the list of skills lends itself to being extracted? Would be nice to just run a macro in Foundry to pull in names and descriptions of the MgT2e-specifc skill list instead of having to start from the Cepheus ones.
