But they would probably not be great sellers unfortunately. Its probably best if Mongoose concentrates on financially viable minis first, adding in a few of the fun ones gradually along the way.

To be fair to Mongoose, I doubt they could actually afford to sell it for less than the £50 region. GW sell at the same price band, and people buy it. But GW are a global company and can absorb to set up costs knowing that the number of sales will be vast.

If there were to be a VaS 2.o, I would like to see the PL system replaced with points system. Just my opinion, but I find that there are just too many wide variations of ships within the same PL. Agree re crew, we have never had a ship reduced to skeleton crew. Anyone tried it using 1 pt of...

Cheers. I'm getting my gaming club playing the game now, and just want to clear up some bits like this.

Just a quicky - Been away from the game for a while. Is the Mogador destroyer correct as of the printing? A patrol destroyer with 4 damage, 3 ad of secondary, plus port AND starboard torps seems rather on the powerful side.

Is there anything further on this? The 12ad of secondary clearly must be incorrect, but giving it 1 ad of secondary seems equally wrong, considering the description - and the fact it would appear that in making it an AA cruiser they added no AA guns, removed most of the secondary and the torps.

The way I read it, from page 30, when you buy a hero, you choose to add 1pt each to two stats, and assign it two talents. Additionaly, if you are upgrading a minion to hero, then you also add +1 hits. Maybe the section regarding upgrading a minion would be better in parenthesis, but this is...
