I do hope that Cal's Judges weren't impacted by Shane quitting sculpting. Though I saw some painted examples on facebook, so they must have cast some already.

Well I'm not sure what a limited cred tournament means, but in a campaign you either take less Angels, or your opponents take mercenaries, or a combination of the two. In my opinion, I'd rather use the Angel Gang, Dark Judges and Zombie Hordes as "boss fights" of a sort in special scenarios...

More than just the background reasoning, I think it's a balance device. A Street Judge is actually pretty cheap for what you get at 150 credits; Judges get +1's across the board, excellent equipment and their own set of talents. There's no reason you couldn't both play as the Justice Department, with one of you being from a corrupt sector house. Judges are on the take quite a bit in JD. Another approach could be to use the Apocalypse War resistance list to represent your Judges working with street gangs. The low ammo...

I think Maria affected by Block Mania would make an awesome mini. Also, I'd like to see another orangutan of some sort. They're definitely in the minority as far as the apes go; we've got four gorillas, three chimps and only two orangutans!
