living in England at the moment. I'll probably just get the most recent version, paperback or not. It's just strange to me that it's not hardback like the others - though I imagine it's probably something to do with costs.

yeah I think so. I think what I'm after though is something that's not available anymore - namely the errated edition (which I believe still had xp) and is in hardback. I believe the game is only available in soft cover now, which is a shame because I much prefer hard back books for my RPG's.
