Cool, I've always been a fan of that, let's you paint nice wakes and waves alongside the boats. Do you have a list of the what-if boats you have rules for? Just curious to see how that shakes out.

Thanks Matt, 1/1800 will lead to very big ships I feel, but the level of detail possible on them will be very high, which makes for good looking displays. Might make a table feel like a parking lot with ships, just my experience at that play level, however, I tend to play very big battles...

Hey Matt, long time no see! I was wondering if you had some information concerning the scope of the miniatures and range of ships. What scale are the minis planned to be? What is the primary material? Will they be sold individually, or in packs? Do you have a general price point for say, a BB...

Actually, since I have missed out on a lot of the discussion, anyone have an executive summary of who owns what licenses and why? It's a shame, I really liked the ship design and the only places to find Bab5 minis these days are exorbitant ebay sales or lucky finds at remote LGS.

It seems like an interesting progression for the Victory at Sea series, and it could be done in multiple levels, a historical approach, or a Pirates of the Carribean style approach. I just think that it would be an entertaining game using a great game engine.

I was hoping for some newer gen looking ships, not the 60s round pod versions for the Federation. But I suppose the ships are just a part of it. Are there plans to bring in the newer styled ship designs or is that a licensing issue? (Stuff like the NCC-2000 and the Yamato?)

In the second edition of Babylon 5 ACTA, with the Fleet book and P&P, was there a rule that changed criticals on large ships? I seem to remember there was something that did, but can't find the reference.

Well, I know you guys are really happy with your new modeling process, if you did do ships, what scale would you be looking at? 1/2400, 1/6000, or something different?

Definitely this! Battletech would be brutal if it wasn't for stuff like SSW that lets you print out force sheets for play. I would be willing to pay for a well crafted program as well.
