    Movies maketh the mood

If you're willing to include TV on DVD don't forget: The Unit E-Ring and any Military Channel available the firefight scenes from the Miami Vice movie (best firefight sound effects short of real footage!) Most of my favorites are already on the list.

    Size/scale of air assets?

While I grant that I will probably buy one of anything in the series that Mongoose does, if they are mainly for use as targets or sceny couldn't you just use a model or diecast and let Mongoose concentrate on actual combat units? I'd like to see a variety of support elements too as I think...

    Size/scale of air assets?

I'd still like to see some arty units. They make for great scenarios and on the modern battlefield it is much more possible for a highly mobile unit to get 'left behind' in a pocket where it might have to face insurgents or something. I wouldn't say the big stuff but units like the small...

Just some misc. bugs I think. It's been a bit since I actually looked. :)

    Advanced Rulebook

I play both! And card games and video games and computer wargames and boardgames (no mindgames though! :) ) To counter it I drive a 'Mad Max' truck a sports coupe and collect firearms and swords and CDs/DVDs. Oh, and there are funny smelling gamers in all veins but most especially the room...

    Size/scale of air assets?

More heli's, an Osprey and lots of 'might be' ground assets! Skip the big air stuff. It should all be represented by effects only not models. I feel pretty much the same about MLRS and SCUD :)

    Finally saw the figs

As the world shrinks all of us business owners have to realize that our competition is not just the other brick and mortars but the online sellers, auctions sites and the Honk Kong $1 shops with $30 shipping. It's the same as has been going on since the first barter transaction. The consumer...

    EM-4 28mm ACW

Are those plastics or metals? Not a lot of historical gaming out this way but I'd love to buy up a bunch and play them down at the shop just to show folks it's actually fun! Oh, on a side note we had a gal that came in with an R/C yesterday that almost flipped out. She saw the BFE models my...

    Red Swarm

If I can figure out how to make my digital camera work and get pics transferred to the computer (I'm not quite, but almost, a Ludite) I'll shoot some orc pics and let you see. I like that Reaper article but for most minis I like do do the stripe method. 1)paint the white 2) paint a vertical...

UN and NATO - Question about the WORLD OF BFE.

I took that zombie survival test at world war z but scored way lower than I thought. Apparently you have to have ocean access so you can flee. Not a lot of that in Idaho. You'll be able to find the location of my last stand though by the moutain of zombies piled up around it. Between my best...

When is the US going to see BF EVO in the gamestores?

As a store owner I really don't mind if someone goes and gets their stuff on the internet. It's part of capitalism and all. I'll even help them with questions on the junk they bought off of Ebay and can't get running. The point where I loose it is when I hear the same guys bitching about...

You can frequently 'fix' that clearcoat frost problem by just respraying. The surface has just dried too rough and light catches at REALLY odd angles making it look frosted. Another coat or two (best with an airbrush but a warmed spraycan works too) will often bring it back. If it's really...

UN and NATO - Question about the WORLD OF BFE.

The greeters in your WalMart even look at you? I have to go around to get my own cart when I go into 'redneck hell' At least I don't have to worry about them ever stocking gaming stuff as it actually requires reading!

Either way they are great potential for getting new folks into gaming! Especially the ones that are scared to paint (they'll learn in time...)

    Finally saw the figs

In the US the WotC stuff sells for $15-$22 a box depending on the release and most retail is about $2 to a pound sterling. I could easily see why you wouldn't want them at your prices. On a side note I have spent as much as $45 US for an individual fig out of the Star Wars collection because...
