Actuall, CoC does (or at least did) Cold War era as well, with Cthulhu Now (80s). Not sure if they have a newer version, I don’t recall seeing it.

I just came across a thread on Solo Traveller. Yes! That’s what else I’d like to see Mongoose produce! A set of solo rules (both truly solo and with an NPC crew) and a line of solo adventures (Chaosium has done a few for CoC).
