The name changes, from what I can see, amount to the following:
Monkey = Monkey (the most important one!)
Friar Sand = Sandy
Pig = Pigsy
Sanzang = Tripitaka (probably the biggest difference)
Does that about sum it up?

On the other hand, I wish SJG had taken that approach with the dad-gum G*RPS 4th Ed core books; everyone I know that owns one has had it fall apart on them - myself included :(

I'll have to agree on the typo issue - the second thing that most people will look at who pick up the book, the back cover (the first thing of course being the front cover), has a typo in the text! I mean it's a blatant typo, just running the text through a standard spellchecker would have...
How would you model his 'pain device' (can't for the life of me remember what it was called) he was given by Tripitaka? Some form of geas spell applied to a magical item? And what about the staff?
