Said modules in Special Supplement 3 are listed as processing 1 ton of whatever it is designed to process per space. However it does not tell us if the rate is per hour, per day, per week or what ever. Could you please clarify?

In Special Supplement 3 Vehicle Upgrade Manual it mentions a factory module that processes what-ever it is designed to processes at the rate of 1 ton per space. That is all well and good but what is the time scale? per day? per week? per month? I simply want to know.
