Ideally I'd love to see a fully expanded system that incorporates more of the star trek universe - but that would require a mass of additional licences that may stretch the mongoose budget somewhat, although then again it's not like the TNG era stuff is doing much these days. :D

Really good battle report guys. Love both the pictures and the interesting narrative style of the battle report itself - so much more interesting than a simple, and often dry, blow-by-blow account.
For me the painting and modelling is often more enjoyable than actually gaming - though that may be partly the lack of gaming in my life at present. So for me I only buy painted if I know I can strip it and repaint it A) the way I like and B) to fit the rest of my army theme/paint scheme...
I've got to echo Da Boss - I prefer my Centauri over Narn (though wouldn't say no to a Narn fleet) - but really impressive looking fleet, very well done.
Hi guys,
My endeavour to clear out the excess models and make some more space continues, so that means another load of stuff on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/mrandmrs9705/m.html?hash=item3377267961&item=221042342241&pt=UK_Toys_Wargames_RL&rt=nc&_trksid=p4340.l2562
Please give the stuff a look...
Narn fleet is looking pretty good, nice and solid colour blocks that fit well with what's seen on screen. If I could have got my hands on one other fleet it would have been the Narns, still look out for them occasionally on auction sites.
Looking good, and don't worry about the picture difficulties. Without some specific and often pricey equipment taking pictures of something that small is always going to be difficult, especially if you're wanting to get more than a tiny portion of the model in focus.
Tram line isn't finished yet, but they are working on one.
Let me know how the Bolton thing goes, sometimes a couple of guys I know head over there; but only really during term time as they're on placement up that way.
Sounds like it should be alright then, not too many drastic changes and as counters appear to still be a viable option I can still play without having to layout on a fleet of models - so no need to split expenditure between ACTA: SF and this as a matter of urgency.
Looking forward to the...
Unfortunately that's a little beyond my travel range, I'm limited to public transport and according to Google maps that's more than 2hours journey time one way; by bus and train (so not cheap either). :(
Does anyone know of any gaming clubs in the are that play, and aren't Uni' specific ones?
No local store to speak of, so direct order is the only option for myself and many others whose local store either doesn't stock Mongoose Publishing stuff or is a brand specific one (e.g. GW).
So how substantive is this update, only played a few games using counters at home; finances and lack of opponents has made it difficult to get too into it?
