    Anti-glorantha rant to moongose.

So many responses to a person who's just trolling and has no familiarity with the setting at all. Don't feed the troll.

    Continuum 2008 photos up!

I was at Convulsion many years back (the predecessor to this con). I was maybe 25, and my beloved Suvi 22. We were at least a decade younger than the next youngest ppl. :) We need younger people finding Glorantha again.

Are even the PDFs black&white now?!? :(

Ok, my apologies then. I'm confused though, it surely looks like the art is in colour and then converted to grayscale. The backgrounds also look like the parchment coloured ones I see in things like Magic of Glorantha and the Ralios PDF. I'm a bit confused now...

Are even the PDFs black&white now?!? :(

It's not the main thing, but it really does bug me. I was prepared to (and did) pay for mongoose's hard cover books since they had high production values. Nice glossy colour pages, and all that. When the printers went B&W my personal sense of value scale tipped the wrong way. I handled some of...

Are even the PDFs black&white now?!? :(

Oh man :( The art & layout look like they were created in colour. Why not publish them in PDF form so that we can enjoy them on the computer screen even if not in hardbound print? I can't imagine it being cheaper to publish B&W PDF's. I'm afraid this will probably put me off buying them now.

Are even the PDFs black&white now?!? :(

I just looked at preview .pdf's of Dara Happa Stirs and the Dragonewt book. I've been happily buying the mongoose books in pdf format, as I don't want to buy the ugly black and white paper versions. The new previews look like they are in black and white too! Somebody enlighten me please.

I claim the forum on behalf of CTech - FLAG!

The reimagining of the Cthulhu mythos in the book is brilliant. The writing is good, and the books is gorgeous. There are a few pages where the red text looks out-of-focus, but it's rare enough that it doesn't really bother me. My only real beef it the redicuous "hybrid damage" rule. If a...

    Cthulhutech in B&W

I had decided to let Cthulhutech pass me by. I noticed a copy at my local store (Turku, Finland) and leafed though it a bit. The glossy full cover hardback book was so gorgeous and professional looking, that I forked over the 50 euro's then and there, and feel I have gotten good value for my...

When does the Dragonewt book go .pdf?

I thought I'd download the dragonewt book as an early christmas present for myself, but apparently it's not yet awailable. Any idea when this will change?

    Clanking City

I see. I won't hurry to buy this one then (also in Finland). I've been thinking about waiting for the .pdf anyway. I have to disagree a bit. I love the maps on the "Glorantha the Second Age" corebook, and the Ralios.pdf.

Power of starting characters in your game ?

I like competent characters. I've done the farmboys from village X beginning too many times to really find it interesting. In our games we usually have a character creating system that ties skill levels to the character's age. Basically we create a character (consept and story), and then put...

What is your favourite Gloranthan creature and why?

What sort of a duck doesn't have feathers then?

    persistence and fear

When does this come up? A person that can cast face chaos is an Urox cultist. When an Urok (aka Storm Bull) warrior uses the holy power of the bull to make good his own escape... well, somehow I don't see that person having progressed far enough in the cult to have gained the spell (or any...
