I agree on the frowning part, but I guess it depends on your style of campaign (the comic Girl Genius?). In mine, I have some horror/insanity rules that might twist a particular smart gnome to go down that path...up to the other PCs to bring him to his senses though :D
*Good idea on the Amazing...

Yup, i didnt have a problem coming up with a flesh-golem stats...just wanted to know if there were rules in OGL Horror for PCs to make them. :D
I havent finished reading the amazing machine rules in OGL Steampunk, maybe there is some info in there on creating constructs (just substitute flesh...
Would OGL Horror give me (and PCs) the tools to create Frankenstein like constructs in my OGL Steampunk campaign? 8)
If not, any suggestions would be appreciated...
Maybe I am overlooking it, but I thought OGL Steampunk has Damage Reduction (DR) armor - I am not finding a space for this on the Kiln character sheet?? :?
Confused Wolf answered #1 for me...I like it!
I agree with Sabbak, lets take squares out of the game :D
As for #2...most RPGs (even non-tactical ones) usually still have consequences for hostiles trying to "break the line" or run by (not through) an armed PC in a hallway (for example)...
Trying to sell this setting to my players...they noticed no Attacks of Opportunity. I am cool with that, but they brought up some concerns...just wondering if I need to house rule it in or something from the SRD.
1) Can NPCs hit and run without consequence?
2) Can an NPC run by a armed/ready PC...
