Banded Mongoose
In late 1109, the crew of the LANCEA executed a series of tactical manoeuvres in contested space, commencing with their covert operations at a key Sword World Confederation fuelling point. Their strategic sabotage began with successfully placing limpet mines on fuel ships, causing substantial damage to enemy logistics and sparking a series of explosions that severely impaired both escort and freight vessels. Subsequently, LANCEA engaged in a fierce confrontation with the enemy fleet, leveraging their missile and particle beam arsenal to devastating effect. This culminated in the destruction of key enemy ships and the capture of significant vessels, including the undamaged 1,000-ton freighter, VASA GUSTAVUS. Amidst ongoing skirmishes and extensive repairs, LANCEA managed to secure valuable combat resources and initiated the transfer of prisoners and supplies to the captured ships. As they navigated through minefields and faced additional enemy forces, the crew's adept handling of intelligence and firepower underscored their tactical prowess in the volatile theatre of the Fifth Frontier War.

The Traveller as crew of the 700-ton Corvette, Private Armed Vessel (PAV) LANCEA, managed to capture a 1,000-ton Magnadon-Class, Provincial Freighter and a 2,500-ton Horizon-Class, Provincial Freighter. Both were claimed as prizes and awarded in the Prize Court on Lunion Prime. The Travellers decided to keep the 2,500-ton Freighter and sell the 1,000-ton Freighter and it cargo, which fetched them MCr90. With the 2,500-ton Freighter, the Travellers have decided to venture into the freighter hauling business, as in the aftermath of the fighting along the Shield Worlds and in the Lunion subsector, the need for shipping is critical.
