Zamoran Gods

Can someone please tell me which books the Gods 'Org' and 'The Bloodstained God' appear in. I don't remember them in any REH tales, and have only read one pastiche by Robert Jordan (title escapes me).

I'm writing an adventure in Zamora and would like to read a bit more about some of the more obscure Gods from that land.

If there are any more Zamoran Gods detailed in print that you could point me to, or give a short precis on, I'd be grateful.

Thanks in advance for any help.

For "The Bloodstained God", refer to the tale of the same name in the book "Conan of Cimmeria".

Theres a back story to how this one came to be written: REH originally wrote it for another of his characters, Kirby O'Donnell. It was rewritten by L. Sprague de Camp as a Conan tale, and published in the book above.

This could arguably be excluded from being canon material.

Thanks for that, I only have the 2 paperback collections of REHs own work.
Which are the best Carter/DeCamp collections to look out for?

Oh, and I've just noticed my first mistake.
Of course, I mean Ong, not Org!

You'll find most of the de Camp books are mixes of work by himself and Carter, intermingled with REH originals... so you're going to end up with books half-full of material you've probably already got :(

An Amazon search turns up they're all out of print, with second-hand prices ranging from about 55p to £55 (in the UK)... reminds me somewhat of the Lone Wolf books :). The good news is Conan of Cimmeria is a 55p one :)

Or, if you're in the US:

- Even cheaper at 50 cents :)

Had to look this one up online:

Ong:---a city of northern Zamora named for Ong, the lion-maned god of pain. (Conan the Adventurer #11, "Inquisitors of Ong", by Roy Thomas)

About as comprehensive a set of replies as I could have hoped for.
I'll have to see if my Amazon voucher can stretch to 55p!
Many thanks indeed.
