World war two

for 1:35 scale you could increase all ranges by a multiple of 3.

ore leave it as it is as the game revolves on center point.

WWII have far less communication equipment, so I would think that could come into play. It was a big hassle trying to coordinate different squads, let alone platoons. And tanks might drive right along side infantry, and yet the two didn't talk to one another (if the tank was buttoned up that is).

Not sure how that would play out using BFE rules (if it's even something that's addressed).

Remember that WWII:Evolution is currently being designed and playtested...

I only remember running across one post where Matt said something about IF the BFE range did well, and IF the follow-up SST Evo also did well, THEN they might consider branching out into other genres and WWII was one mentioned.

I don't recall finding any posts that were more encouraging,; nothing that even said that WWII would definately be the next genre IF they go for a third line.

I'm currently skirmish gaming WWII using 15mm because I just couldn't justify getting 28mm figures, and having yet more unpainted minis to weigh me down. If Mongoose goes for painted 28mm WWII figs I'd be there in a heartbeat!

well we had one here in aussie land with SST but he went beside the wayside when the BF-evo rules announcment was made. Ahh forget it, its just a gripe i have that the only good stuff that happens, demo wise, playtesting etc happens in England. I think we would get more interest from the game if there was more Demos available.

Well when Mongoose's head office and chief design people are all in the UK it's not exactly cost-effective to go overseas for open days and such. I only live one island over and have yet to make it over for one.
