Like I said earlier I'm bored of being A Traveller GM and am doing A Drinax Campaign as The Single Player

So before I do it when theirs a chance no-one will read it who wants A Topic covering me doing A Drinax Campaign as The Single Player, which is my first Campaign as A Player in A Decade?
 
Generated A Few Events for my GM and then me and him took it in turns to GM them. That way I'm helping The/my GM learn the rules faster and hopefully start The Campaign soon. What do you think of how they went?

The 2 Space 1

The 1st

Pirate

They get close to my Harrier. But when they find out that my characters A SS 15 Drinax Noble they chicken out and Jump out, lucky for them less then 4 seconds before my Particle Beam would have only just been within close range

The 2nd

Warship

It’s A 8,000 Ritchey Escort and officially its only flying The Flag but in truth it’s doing some kind of PR Stunt. Cos of its size and power I ignore it and as my characters A SS 15 Drinax Noble they ignore us

The 2 on Planet 1's

The 1st

A Starport 1

A Bored Clerk makes life difficult for me. But once she realizes that my characters A SS 15 Drinax Noble she begs my forgiveness(literally) and fast tracks my landing Visa to get me out of The Starport within less the 20 minutes rather then at least 3 hours

The 2nd

A Urban 1

A Curiosity Shop. I spend almost 4 Hours(from just after 12.00AM till just before 4.004PM) browsing till its time for A Very Early Tea(4.15PM as opposed to characters normal 5.30PM to 5.40PM) and like expected find nothing or at least nothing of interest or worth buying, but in the end my player was very surprised at how interesting doing the right sort of browsing in the right shop on the right planet can actually be

Str and End were both 2 5’s and A 3 or both 10 both -1 or both 9, Dex was 2 4’s, A 5 and A 1 or 9, Intelligence was 2 4’s, A 6 and A 2 or 10, Education was 2 2’s, A 6 and A 5 or 11 +1 or 12 and Social Scale was 2 6’s and 2 1’s or 12 +1 or 13

And

For my 5 Skills I take Carouse /0 or +1, Diplomat /0 or +2, Medic /0 or +2, Persuade /0 or +2 and Streetwise /0 or +1

And

To give me A Super-Character that can survive doing this solo The GM's letting me make 3 rolls every time and I choose the 1 that applies. Even with portfolios and you thought I was strange

Term 1

Due to already having several of the skills I get a automatic Art -Dancing /0 or +1 and Painting /0 or +2 and Deception /0 or +2

I survive, advance and with A 3 and A 5 on Specialist -Critic get Art -Dancing /1 or +2, Carouse /1 or +2 and Diplomat /1 or +3

The Event rolls A 23 then A double 6 or 12, so I get A Stipend

The GM makes, why I don't know, 2D3 or 4 Health Events and chooses the best. He ends up with A 66 then A 3rd 6 and my characters completely stopped aging

Term 2

I survive, advance and with A 6 on both Personnel Development and Service Skills and get Diplomat /2 or +4, Jack of All Trades /1 and +1 Int

The Event Rolls A 56, which’ll double my 1st portfolio item. Which in the end meant A Cr 100,000,000 Estate that nets me Cr 500,000 per month

I survive, advance and with A 3 and A on Specialist -Critic I net Art -Dancing /2 or +3 and Diplomat /3 or +5

And

The events A 45, using The GM’s House Rule I choose Humanitarian, roll 2D6+1 get A 9 and get Languages -Aslan /1 or +3

Term 4

Survive, advance and with A 5 and A 6 on Service Skills nets Diplomat /4 or +6 and Persuade /2 or +4

And

The Events A 66, so I gain Rank 5

Term 5

Survive, advance and with A 4 and A 5 on Personnel Development net +2 Social Scale and Carouse /2 or +4

And

The Events A 35 then A 2 then A 5, so I net A Free Benefit that The GM makes A Portfolio Item that’s A 10+3 for A 10,000,000 Agricultural Estate that nets me Cr 50,000 a month

Survive and A 5 on Advanced Education nets me Science -Social /1 or +3

And

The events A 42 then A Double 6, which nets me Cr 120,000

Survive and A 1 on Advanced Education nets me Advocate /1 or +4

The events A 56, which nets me +1 End and Survival /1 or +2

Survive but get kicked out after this term, and 1 on Advanced Education nets me Advocate /2 or +5 and A 6 on Mishap nets me Vacc Suit /1 or +2

The Events A 53 and I choose to get Languages -Kree /1 or +3

Including the 2 I gained from Events my 5 Portfolio Items are 1 Hunting Estate worth Cr 100,000,000 that nets me Cr 500,000 per month, 1 Cr 25,000,000 Brandy Makers that net me Cr 187,500 per month, 1 Cr 25,000,000 Industrial Property that nets me Cr 125,000 per month, 1 Stipend worth Cr 10,000,000 that nets me Cr 75,000 per month and 1 Agricultural Estate worth Cr 10,000,000 that nets me Cr 50,000 a month
All in all those 5 Cr 10 Million to Cr 100 Million each properties will net me Cr 50,000 +Cr 75,000 +Cr 125,000 +Cr 187,000 +Cr 500,000 or Cr 937,000 per month, which is a vast sum. So all in all every good right guys

My other 9 Benefits are +2 Edu, +1 Int, 1 TL 15 Laser Rifle and 1 TL 15 Monoblade as well as Cr 4D6x1,000,000 or Cr 22,000,000 worth of Antique Artwork. All in all very good indeed, ain’t that right guys

Using The GM’s house rules for Solo Skill Packages I net 2D2+1 or 5 Skills all at the same 1D2 or 2 and I choose/took/ended up with Broker /2 or +5, Gun Combat -Energy Rifles /2 or +3, Leadership /2 or +5, Melee -Blade /2 or +3 and Tactics -Naval /2 or +4

I also loot The Harriers Armory and storeroom which nets me 3 Snub Pistols, 3 Flak Jackets, 3 TL 11 Vacc Suits, 1 TL 12 Vacc Suit, 1 TL 11 Laser Rifle, 1 Sindallian Officers Cutlass, 1 Sindallian Officers Revolver with 5 spare clips of each type, 1 Breaching Gun, 1 Boarding Gun, 1 set of silver tableware, 1 1-ton crate of Deer Meat, 1 crate of 12 3-pint bottles of Mead and 1 crate that holds 200 boxes each of 200 cigarettes

I also sell my characters collection of Cr 22,000,000 worth of Antique Artwork to, hopefully, fully rebuild The Harrier, I forget what I rolled but it netted me +20% of The Cr 22,000,000 my Antique Artwork’s worth or Cr 24,200.000
With most of that Cr 24,000,000 of that I fully repair The Harrier and give it A 5-ton Medical Room at a cost of Cr 21,500,000 and 5 tons of my 29.75 ton cargo

All in all that leaves me with Cr 2,700,000 +Cr 120,000 or Cr 2,820,000, not to mention a tiny amount short of Cr 800,000 per month for at least a fair few months from my portfolio. So all in all every good right guys

For, including a far higher pay then normal, I hire 11 crew for The Harrier that are 3 Marines, 2 Gunners, 1 Medic, 1 back-up engineer, 1 back-up pilot, 1 engineering officer, 1 piloting officer and 1 1st officer that all have A +3 DM in their 5 key-skills and A +2 DM in their 3 none-key skills

Including repair and upkeep costs The Harrier and its 11 crew of 3 Marines, 2 Gunners, 1 Medic, 1 back-up engineer, 1 back-up pilot, 1 engineering officer, 1 piloting officer and 1 1st officer that all have A +3 DM in their 5 key-skills and A +1 DM in their 3 none-key skills cost me Cr 137,940 per month

All determined by rolling on A Table The GM’s tables for such things

It’s a fully functioning, well hidden and very large Class-B Starport that is on the main shipping lane, but by pure luck has been unknown and unused for 113 years

It has the capacity to build rare and/or custom Ships like The Drinaxian Harriers and Wyvern Class Commerce Raiders

It has A 1,000-ton building Capacity that Like I mention later it can build me ships up to 200 tons at half retail price. Ships up to 600 tons at -35% retail price, ships up to 900 tons at -15% of the retail price and 1,000 ton ships at -5% of the retail price

It also has The stolen Blueprints and Materials for Harrier Class Commerce Raiders and The stolen Blueprints but not The Materials for Wyvern Class Commerce Raiders

It has very luxurious fittings, furnishings and accommodation and its fully operational, just a little old and outdated

Like I said earlier it earns my character a minimum of least Cr 270,000 a month and more often then not at least Cr 300,000 a month

And

It has Hydrophonics Bays that can comfortably provide good quality food and drink sufficient to feed A Crew of up to 3,860 per month and will net my character A Surplus of 2D6+2 tons of Basic Consumables per month and 3D6+1 tons of Luxury Consumables per 14 months

Basically Inurin and Sperle provide Food, Bryni provides ships, ship-yards and soldiers, Drinax, Neumann and Tech-World provide Tech, Falcon, Albe and Neuman provide workforce's for all the planets and we break Acrid and Argona free from The PRQ and they provide the materials and minerals

In the end Drinax gets the worlds of Inurin, Sperle, Bryni, Tech-World, Falcon, Albe, Neuman, Acrid and Argona and nets around 226.2 million part-time soldiers equipped at TL 8 to 12 and around 26.83 million full-time soldiers equipped at TL's 10 to 15 and nets a defensive Navy of 97 Ships that range from 100 tons to 1,000 tons to The Drinax Regional Forces and another 30 Ships into The Drinax Starguard and they all range from 200 tons to 700 tons

And

As well as all of that Bryni gives my character 1 captured 600 ton Corsair and 1 captured 400 ton Blockade Runner, which I add to my directly controlled ships

Claiming that Pirate Base gives me +2D3 or +6 Morale

It drops both super-powers Pirate Alias standings by -3D6 or -18 with The Aslan and -15 with The Imperium for faked crimes against Drinax

They means it’s cost Cr 227,650,000 divided by 11 rounded up Cr 23,000,000 Million +Cr 13.5 or Cr 36,500,000 to get back to fully operational status

A 3 on 1D6 then A 1 on 1D3 means it’ll take 3D6+1 or 12+1 or 13 months to fully repair, so I wait on Drinax and give The Crew 13 month’s fully paid shore leave

The GM decides that that raises my morale to 13x1D3 +2D6+2 or to 39 +8 +2 or 49

Its the last 1 for definitely at least 7 days and me and The GM hope at least 9 days

Mainly cos I'm off to A School Reunion that including travel times will take at least 2 days then A visit to see A Uncle in France that depending on how careful I am with my funds will hopefully last at least 6 days and definitely at least 4 days or at least 6 days and hopefully at least 8 days in all

And

The GM's got a very early Holiday that's a A Self-Catering Holiday that he says he hopes will last at least 7 days and will definitely last at least 5 days as well as at least 2 more days travelling their and back or definitely at least 7 days and hopefully at least 9 days in
