White Star fighters?

Are these like the small FA white stars from AOG? Are they any good in ACTA? So far it seems like what I've read is that the WS carrier is good but the gunship is not. Is the WS 2 any good?

From the stats the WS Carrier seems pretty good. WS2 is now worth taking because it retains its SFOS stats (dodge 3+, Precise molecular pulsar). I've not actually tried them out yet, but I've taken one of each in the campaign we've recently started.

The WS-2 definitely is worth taking now. You lose some suvivabilty, 2 vs 1 WS. BUT

You gain alot of firepower, and the crit seeker missle actually make the enemy not stand around for the first turn. Sure he might try to do so, but even from way in the table edge part of his deployment zone, you can threaten him. And no one likes precise weapons.
