Just wonder what will folks be fighting over as far as Terrain goes. I myself only have tons of country side stuff. Going to have to restock the bank to purchase city buildings to bring the fight door to door. (have some pictures as soon as figure how to load them)

ive gone both, probably mostly do urban but i have alot of wilderness terrain with woods and such, a change of flavour never hurts in my opinion.

urban V wilderness games are very different in feel as well.

Well, me I'll be going with whatever I can improvise, as always.

But as soon as I can get into this properly? It's a WORLD TOUR, baby!

Urban for starters, i've been constructing a small modern town during the last few weeks, complete with burgerbar and trailer-park

of topic a bit, but the starwars minis look ace in such mass, thats the best thing about these prepaints the look improves with quantity, you should see what 60 pla look like :)

Hiro, that is the same thing my wife says. (everytime!)

She is just glad now I'm buying pre-painted instead of spending all this money on ones that never get painted and sit.

Man, that reminds me that I wanted to buy a bunch of SWM singles and use them for a Star Wars evolution game.

As for me, I'll probably assemble a large cityscape from WorldWorks cardstock terrain.

Interesting use of Starwars Miniatures. Kinda shocked you spent that much money though...

What are you trying to say Hiro? That he shouldn't have spent all that money on something Star Wars? Don't they have a camp in Cuba for people who say stuff like that? Outstanding Dorb, I wish I could pop over to play that game, I'd bring about the same number of stormtroopers, six AT-STs and two AT-ATs.

I was thinking about what type of urban terrain to do and decided that middle eastern buildings are pretty boring so I've started making Sydney buildings. So far, I have a small row of shops - newsagency, chemist with solicitors office up top, pizza shop - and I'm thinking of doing a KFC or McDonald's and a Blockbuster video shop next. I'll post pics when/if I complete an actual street.

I will most likely use anything. I have urban scenery I use at shows and I have countryside scenery for WW2/Fantasy/anything.

There are AT-ATs in 28mm sale?

:? ... :x ... ...

I think I just had a nerdgasm...

yea, and at fifty quid a pop wern't cheap, also a limited run, I saw one at gencon uk last year and about dropped a log!!!

They are wicked!!

ok guy evan with the power of the force, i feel compeled to pull this back onto topic. sorry :D

i think urban is great for the game as i think one of the strong elements of this game is people can relate to it. it also gives the game a definate feel, as woodland and non urban is what most of us grew up gaming on.

urban also realy opens up the use of infantry as well.

I'm intrested how far you got with your pre-painted terrain LBH, I've been looking around and o scale is hard to find, it looks like hurst arts is the way forward?

I picked up a bucket load of Ziterdes terrain from my local Travelling Man.

You can see what I went for here:

http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=25627

I list what I bought and what I'm getting nearer the bottom.

I just put my radio operator in the item linked to by "One of These" and even crouched he can see through the window, so I reckon that's not bad scale.
