Just wonder what will folks be fighting over as far as Terrain goes. I myself only have tons of country side stuff. Going to have to restock the bank to purchase city buildings to bring the fight door to door. (have some pictures as soon as figure how to load them)
of topic a bit, but the starwars minis look ace in such mass, thats the best thing about these prepaints the look improves with quantity, you should see what 60 pla look like
What are you trying to say Hiro? That he shouldn't have spent all that money on something Star Wars? Don't they have a camp in Cuba for people who say stuff like that? Outstanding Dorb, I wish I could pop over to play that game, I'd bring about the same number of stormtroopers, six AT-STs and two AT-ATs.
I was thinking about what type of urban terrain to do and decided that middle eastern buildings are pretty boring so I've started making Sydney buildings. So far, I have a small row of shops - newsagency, chemist with solicitors office up top, pizza shop - and I'm thinking of doing a KFC or McDonald's and a Blockbuster video shop next. I'll post pics when/if I complete an actual street.
ok guy evan with the power of the force, i feel compeled to pull this back onto topic. sorry
i think urban is great for the game as i think one of the strong elements of this game is people can relate to it. it also gives the game a definate feel, as woodland and non urban is what most of us grew up gaming on.
urban also realy opens up the use of infantry as well.
I'm intrested how far you got with your pre-painted terrain LBH, I've been looking around and o scale is hard to find, it looks like hurst arts is the way forward?
I list what I bought and what I'm getting nearer the bottom.
I just put my radio operator in the item linked to by "One of These" and even crouched he can see through the window, so I reckon that's not bad scale.
