All my groups are in different places. One group, now retired, played exclusively in Zamora, the main group is making their way to Tarantia in Aquilonia, another group is going towards Koth and another is in Nemedia trying to find the best place to buy cheap glass.

Haven't run my campaign for a few months now, but here goes:

Northern Nemedia --> Northern Brythunia --> Southern Brythunia --> Zamora (Shadizar) --> Southern Nemedia --> Corinthia --> Zamora (Arenjun) -->

In order my group have been to the Southern Isles, Kush, Atlaia, lands of the Wadai and Iranistan. The next stop will most likely be pirating up and down the west coast or into Zingara.

I jump around much like the REH tales.
I just rewatched the movie Dagon on SciFi, and may use Argos & Zingara to have a small adventure inspired by the movie. IIRC, Dagon may have a mention in Faith & Fervour. I also plan to use Raven's write-ups for Deep Ones and other delightful nasties. Can't hardly wait!

So far my Conan game has turned out to be a sequence of mini series, each tied to one general location. My first campaign was involved the Barachan pirates, and took place off the coasts of Argos and Zingara, with a bit of action in Messantia. My second campaign was set in the Westermarck, mainly in Schondara, and ended with an epic voyage all the way down the Thunder River to the sea.

My upcoming third campaign is set in Stygia, with all-new (Stygian) characters. Looking forward to it.

My campaign is currently located around the Vilayet. I used the basic plotline from CB1"Conan Unchained"( Old AD&D stuff ):
the PCs start as Turanian mercenaries, get their army wiped by black magic (as in the "Hand of Nergal" novel), wander in the Hyrkanian steppe, are captured by Kozaks who plan to sell them as slaves. The PCs earn their freedom and join the Kozaks for a time. Next they move to the Vilayet and join the Red Brotherhood for some piracy and treasure hunting. Their next step is a final showdown with the evil sorcerer who destroyed their army.

The plot is pretty basic but I found it very "conanesque". With some fleshing out, the adventure makes a wonderful start for an Hyborian campaign.

I don't know where I'm going to send them next. Maybe the Pictish frontier or the Black Kingdoms. I intend also to use "Ancient Kingdom Mesopotamia" ( wich has a very strong Hyborian flavor ), but this one needs a lot of reworking, being too much in the D&D style (too many dungeons, monsters an d magic items).

Our current campaign is set in Shem and Zamboula. I'm running the Age of Worms from Dungeon magazine using Mardu, Nergal, Pazuzu and ultimately Tiamat (mesopotamian version..thanks Morten!).

We started in Eruk near a salt lake then across to Sabatea, then into the Tiaian mountains, now up to Zamboula. It was incredibly easy to integrate Conan story elements, especially Shadows in Zamboula! Wowie, my players are still talking about Aram Baksh and the Darfari Cannibals (and their "PIT" ..which led down to the chambers of a risen-dead TOTROSAMEK sorcerer! (in place of the Xyrxog character).

Modifying Dungeon adventures has been a snap. Instead of dopplegangers, I use the S'tarra serpent men. Instead of lizard-men, I simply used Sabatean soldiers. To change typical D&D monsters, I just modify their appearance and play them as-is otherwise (stats are not changed). my players think that I'm making all new monsters :)

Our past campagns have been set in Brythunia and then headed outwards towards Nemedia, Border Kingdom, Corinthia, Turan, Kozaki-steps, Vilayet, Turan and Zamora throughout the campaigns.

Any one single Pastiche or REH story can be worked into several nights adventures and are very conducive to campaign playing (as opposed to episodic, which I orignally thought would be cool, but ultimately spells doom for ALL gaming groups...).

We still do some episodic-type stuff, but it's usually "OK, you ran across the desert, lost all of your camels, and arrive in Zambula with naught but 500 gp worth of gear..you have 5 minutes to prep your character).

We're at level 9 right now..and using the d20 rules instead of the Conan game. It's been a blast once again.

Campaign Session Summary for Players
(version. 10/22/06):

Announcements:

1. We almost had a TPK last night. If it wasn't for Az's last-second critical (fumble) on the giant Octopin while you were worshipping the monkey god brain, I'd have had to rocket in all of your clones..which would be much more pliable than your current meat..uh, er..characters.
2. The APL of the party is now 9 correct? That means that the minimum PC level is 8 (just in case you don't have your character/back-up updated..Brian or Kevin).
3. Rule: Each 500 gp spent "X.P. for Loot." requires a d12 check (or something bad happens..."It's always the black lotus with you Balabar!'). We didn't have an "amount" before. You can use as much as you want per night..I guess until something bad happens. n00b replacement characters can save up to 1/4 of their g.p. to use for x.p if they wish (it won't be a game-breaker).

Next Session: NOVEMBER 3rd

Have you seen my conversion notes for using Ancient Kingdoms: Mesopotamia with the Conan RPG?
Of course I did. I would not be a Conan Fan if I didn't know your site.
You're doing a great job. Thanks.

I am using the Border Kingdoms as there is little in the way of 'real' info on them and looks as if Mongoose doesn't have any plans for fleshing it out which is perfect for me.

Perfect for intrigue and poltics between Nemedia and Aquilonia. Also the great marsh hides many things that man is better of not knowing. And it borders two hyper violent cultures if I need to smack my PCs around (Cimmeria and Hyperboria) :)

Also given the habit of certain practioners of sorcery to hide out away from civilization, but still close enough to acquire the neccessary trappings of the good life it makes (for me at least) a fairly perfect setting.

Just now trying to gigure out how to use those cultists of the WHite Hand (from Signs & Portents) as another powergroup - maybe they need to bring eternal winter to the world - first stop the Border Kingdoms :-)

My players are currently finishing up in Zamora. The Aesirian barbarian is wanting to visit the old homestead, after I dropped a few rumors, so they are heading north for the next part of the campaign.
