Where is the Glorantha scenario in the latest S&P?

The King

Cosmic Mongoose
Did I miss something? In the S&P57 there should have been
Breaking The Stones – Part One of a Glorantha scenario by Lawrence Whitaker

But it is nowhere to be found.

Due to unforseen size issues we cut a few things at the last minute. This will be in next month's issue
Thanks for the info. Then I hope we get part 1 and part 2 in the same mag. 8)

Its quite a hefty scenario - some 30 pages - and it splits neatly into two separate halves. I guess space in S&P58 will determine what format it takes, but both halves can work independently.

What's it about? God Learner activity in the Ralios town of Dangk and the secret behind the Hrelar Amali ruins.

It seems to fit perfectly with the release of Ruins of Glorantha. 8)

I must say that i find this rather odd gentlemen... especially as I had nothing to do with it.

But if you insist on a poll then i feel that i should remind you of a few things... No 1, I am the editor of S&P and so it is I who decides if your favourite games get lots of attention, No 2, I decide whose articles get published, No 3, hell hath no fury like a female editor (who works too hard and is rather stressed) scorned...just something to think about!

enjoy the day!

I find the poll funny too (I didn't organized anything).

But gentlemen applies to Elric games and other chaos scums from Glorantha, not to the Tribes of Tir nan Og or from Orlanthi.

So to avoid this matter degenerating into a civil war I suggest you offer the Glorantha fans the full scenario "Breaking The Stones" (that is part 1 and 2) in the next S&P.
After all there are very few true scenarios for MRQ Glorantha and the actual campaign (Blood of Orlanth) needs PC's with some experience.

I am afraid that it is not my policy to negotiate. I am not being awkward by spliting it into two. As Loz said it is simply far too big to be in one issue as it would take up nearly half of the mag which would anger fans of other lines. We need to maintain a balance, and so the two part plan stays.

Don't forget the saying "good things come to those who wait"... it doesn't just apply to Guiness!

I didn't negociate but suggested.

The fact is there is no balance and that's the issue:
Considering only RuneQuest:
- Hawkmoon has 4 books including 1 campaign and 2 scenarios IIRC
- Elric has 4 books and 2 or 3 scenarios
- Glorantha has some books and only 1 scenario.

And Conan has an even far better book/scenario ratio.

As to S&P it had some 40-50 pages at the beginning, and now has over 80, so it shouldn't be that hard (especially with a PDF release) to publish a "special" edition with 30 more pages.
