Whats this bit for?

Ok my copy of armageddon arrived along with some much needed nials, white stars and those funny big white stars, oh yeah white star gunships.

The gunships came with 3 pretty metal bits:
1. The ship
2. The bridge (that you stick to the ship)
3. A T shaped fin

The fin is in both my gunship boxes but I cant for the life of me find a piccy with where the hell its meant to go. Originally i thought behind the bridge in that little grove there, but after some inspecting of pics you can clearly see that it isnt there.

So i as the really daft question of has anyone worked out where the hell this thing is meant to go?

It isn't on the Mongoose pics. It goes underneath, similar to the T-piece on a standard White Star.

Its the only other thing i could think of too, just its a bit of a lousy fit. Ahh well out comes the green stuff

hmmm... that might actually make the WS Gunship look a hell of alot better.... might actually consider buying one.. anyone got any pics they can post (id be interested to see how one looks without the HIDEOUS paint job on the prerelease one..)

Mine is just base coated white, I'll take a pic tonight and post it.
Carrier and fighters too
(They do both look a lot better in the flesh than the pics)

you can also use it to poke yourself in the eye, it doesn't help with the modeling but it does make the ship look better

Its glitter... you should see the others in its squadron

Gunship is a touch under 3". Carrier is slightly over 4".

Just out of curiosity how long are the regular White Stars? I havent gotten around to picking up a fleet yet but Im curious how big the are compared to other models.

Just over an inch long, theyre about right scalewise when compared to most EA ships I find. Possibly a LITTLE on the large size but they feel about right still
