You know what would have been an awesome April Fools Joke had I thought of it even a few hours ago: Jon Brazer Enterprises Lands the Babylon 5 License. Either that or My Little Pony (Traveller edition). Either way.

I don't have access to the page anymore, but WotC in their April 2008 merchant newsletter announced "My Little Pony:The RPG"... mocked up book and ponies and everything in the announcement.

OMG it was funny, they actually got some negative feedback but did reveal the joke in the May newsletter.

I have a copy of that game! It came with the Haiti package from DTRPG. I thought it was HILARIOUS and GREAT all at the same time. If I had little girls I would play that game with them.

Laser Ponies are AWESOME. I have also added them to my D&D game... Wait until you see the mighty Ranger come over the ridge riding his horse that shoots LASERS from its eyes! DIE Goblin scum!
