What do I need to start??

Do I need Sky Full of Stars, the Starter Set or Armageddon if I have the Revised Box??

I intend on buying the Revised box this weekend and wanted to see what else I should look for.

You will need the Revised Boxset, Sky Full of Stars and Arma.

No need for the starter book.

I wasn't sure about Sky full of Stars, because the description reads as thought you only need it if you had the original box set. Are any of the the new rules in SFoS in the Revised box?

The basic rules are the same between SFOS and the Revised Edition boxset.
However, SFOS includes new additional rules,updates,fleetlists and other great stuff!
I recommend it.

While they aren't essential to play (Armageddon, SFoS), you'll probably want them for the latest fleet lists and expanded rules. Enjoy!

Yep, you CAN play with just the revised box set but your playing without the full up to date rules then. SFoS is more or less essential and Arma is whilst not AS vital (unless you play EA then it's pretty crucial ) it's still fairly important.

Really you will need all three to have a the complete current rules
