Weapon programs and feats

quick question, do webcrawlers need to have the appropriate feats to use weapon programs? For example, do you need at least the simple weapons feat to use blade and personal firearms to use blaster? :? I don't think so, it's just one of those things you want to keep up on to keep from lauching into arguments

I would say no, cos it is a program. After all, the user doesn't need 'move silently' to use a stealth program.

If you want to justify it you could say the program includes the necessary code to allow the user to actually use it.

I agree with Zethnar. I am really really good with the light gun on most arcade units especially police trainer. Am I that good with a real gun ....no way.
