Wave 1 has Landed

Fanaticus

Mongoose
Hi Everybody,

My very 1st post here, coming via cyberspace all the way from Portugal :)

Better late then never, BF:EVO Wave 1 finally landed at our shores, in very small numbers, but I have the pictures to prove it...

The models in these images won't be any new news for most of you, but here they go anyway:

The models are still inside the boxes - so fresh they are - but there are some closeups that can give some idea of the details in the figures.

I'm still catching up on the backlog of issues here at the forum related with the Wave 1 production models and figures and, as I understood (hope right), there was a first batch produced and launched for Wave 1 with some issues reported, and then a later second batch of models was produced.

I don't know it I got the whole picture, but if that was the case, I can I identify if the models I have (in the pictures above) are first batch or later ones?

Anyway, that's all for now.

Hi Fanaticus,
Welcome to the mad house,

Nice to see you got your hands on the models at last,
let us know how you get on with your first games.

Welcome aboard. Glad to see ya went with some USMC.

Watch out for Mr. Evil...he is insane, I think they let him out on the weekends for fresh air. :P

Welcome to the forum! What language rulebooks did your boxes come with (it looks like just English from the photos).
Yep, just the Starter Rules in English, with Stat Cards in English also.

I was thinking about doing a Portuguese translation of the Starter Rules, but I don't know if Mongoose will be even interested in that...

Yep, went with some USMC, they were the best looking models of the lot

But now I'm afraid... Is HE so Evil?

BTW, I've added some more pictures with some closeups of the British Infantry:

They don't look all that bad...

Hope that you find the pictures somewhat usefull.

Yep, I know.
English is not a problem for me, but I wonder if a localized version in Portuguese is relevant for Mongoose.

Anyway, related with my Wave 1 stuff, I'm still not sure if they are from the first production batch or from a later batch...

Seeing the pictures above, do anyone can identify this aspect?

There's been only one wave 1 so original(the one and only). Improved wave 2 you might have seen refers to wave 2 units(british command etc).

If you'd like to put together a Portuguese version of the rules, please drop me an email at afennell@mongoosepublishing.com

We'd be very happy to post it up with the other free language downloads.
