[Warning!]Production Schedule Affecting Beer Supply

Kilgs

Mongoose
Bloody hell, I try to space out my gaming purchases among different genres so I don’t fall behind too far in any particular line. That and the fact that I tend to keep a good social calendar (ie. drinking schedule) for sanity purposes is really making things tough. This summer is just going to screw me! Agent, Central Supply in June, Aslan and Scoundrel in July.

Hey, Mongoose! Just because I have disposable income and love Traveller doesn’t mean I stopped liking beer! It's summer here in America and I need to afford copious amounts of beer and BBQ!

Slow it down, willya!

Time to find some buddies who will buy the beer if you run a game for them!

It IS a terrible problem to have, I really sympathize with you.

Hopefully, you can find a good middle ground of lots of books and a good buzz as well.

Well, I could sell you my trademarked rainmaking snake oil, which cau-
ses permanent torrential rain for one week per bottle, eliminating almost
the entire need for beer and significantly reducing the likelihood of bar-
becues.

A bottle of my snake oil is much cheaper than a bottle of beer, and it al-
ways works reliably and perfectly, provided you make sure that there is
no Green Schnurbler within one mile of the bottle when you open it.

This way Mongoose could continue to provide me with the material I ur-
gently need for my setting, and you would still have some money left
for roleplaying games after the purchase of my snake oil.

[Plus, this purchase would help me to both feed my non-existing kids and
buy the Mongoose stuff.]

Do we have a deal ? 8)

But.....wait.
......aren't Green Snurblers endemic throughout North America.....?

I have not the slightest idea what they are, but it seems they are endemic
wherever I sold that oil ...

When I saw the subject, I thought you were discussing a plot idea. Now, I've got a Traveller version of "Smokey and the Bandit" stuck in my head.

If rust's snake oil doesn't pan out, try collecting empties - you can often get even more for them by driving to other states...
...that is assuming gas prices don't go back up to 20% the cost of a Traveller product per lousy gallon!

(ok - maybe that won't work - I'll go have a beer and think some more about this...)

Bandit, what are we gonna do about all this beer we took?

Now that would be a good article for S&P

So I just finished that beer and I have established a Plan of Action for this most calamitous predicament which this most eloquent topic has brought to our esteemed attention..

Problem solved - I am going to have another beer!

One of my Traveller players brews his own beer, so that is an example of one possible solution for you.
