Waiting on Omelos turrets

I picked up a couple of Omelos months ago at a show, without turrets.

I emailed Chris Longhurst, whose been able to solve my previous missing bit problems, but no joy thus far. I've been waiting since 27 November, with a couple of reminders sent in between without response bar one on the day I first emailed.

With such bad casting, so many missing bits, and now no replies, I've had it with Mongoose. I'm not buying any more toys. Books yes, models no. I'll make do with counters.

At least I don't have to rely on Mongoose for Victory at Sea models.

I keep on forgeting to remind them about my Omelos turrets probably as most my dilgar are in their bags still. Must get on to it, one day soonish

Just had a reply from Chris

Sorry Roger, I'm afraid that there are still no Omelos turrets. I am currently trying to get a time of delivery from our manufacturer. All I can do is apologise and assure you that as soon as there are Omelos turrets to be had, you will have them.

Nice to know he's on the case. I just wish the Mongoose supply chain could keep up with the good intentions of their staff, and the desires of their customers. Their casting company just aren't up to scratch.

The Mongoose folks are a lovely bunch of people, just victims of their own success. It feels very much as if they've grown faster than they'd planned to. I hope they can pull it together in time for ACTA 2e.
