"Wait till you see the whites of their eyes..."

May we please petition to drop the white paint on the eyes in favore of a darker color or no white at all?

Given I cheat as much as possible to avoid painting eyes on my miniatures? yeha, i have no preference...

??? I play Marines, they all wear dark sunglasses. I think 8) would look weird in white...

I want as little do do as possible, as I don't like painting. I would prefer it if the eyes where an off white, that way it wouldn't be so obvious when they go a bit wrong.

In all the games of paintball I've been involved in I can't ever remember noticing the whites of anyone's eyes. Now throw in Real bullets and it would be even harder. Heck, just walk through a mall some time and see how close you have to get to someone to see the whites of their eyes.
Painting eyes that detailed is fine for competitions but is wholey unneccesary for the tabletop.
