VASSAL ACTA little problem ...

Hello!

I have decided to install VASSAL and the last ACTA module (2e-1.3) in order to play the game solo while I'm learning the game; I have a little problem ... forgive me if it is stupid but it is the first time I'm using VASSAL.
I set a local game as ATTACKER and, after turning on the map, I select PIECES in order to drag some ships on the map itself.
I put a ship on the map and right clicking on it show the menu with the PROPERTIES, ORDER, etc ... but if I hover the mouse over the unit on the map, a bigger image of the ship counter appear and on top of it there is a green box with the words OUT OF MAP (I read FUORI MAPPA because it is in Italian); what does OUT OF MAP it means? the unit are all on the map but for all of them I read this warning.

Hope someone will help me ...

Thanks in advance!

Roberto

Are they on the black part of the Map or the white part. Although the white part is on the "Map" window, technically only the black part is "the map"

I might be using a slightly older version than you, I'm not sure, but it could be that. Then again I usually play as observer for solo games so that might have something to do with it.

Hi, I just checked my Vassal game and it does it for me too even when its on the black part. I never noticed it before but it probably always did it so I don't know a solution for you. My only advice is to ignore it, it doesn't seem to stop you playing the game, its just one of those wierd things. Good luck
