VaS counter question....

Checked out old issue of S&P and found the counters that were included in those two issues.
Will the final counters look like those in S&P are more like the really nice ones from B5:Sky Full of Stars?

Considering they're the same price as the ACTA counters I'd say they're as good or better.

Yes but I still would like to see a pic or two of the final counters before purchasing.That is what sold me on ACTA/SFoS counters for B5,as well as the B5 template from GF9;and I bought 2 sets of counters.Think posting a pic or two might help if interested in sales,just IMHO though.

The counters are very much similar to ACTA ones. The size of counters are pretty much identical (destroyers, subs and cruisers use the standard ship size, capital ships use the larger token size, aircraft are the same size as the ACTA fighters). You will get the main ship top down view on a blue ocean with the nation's ensign in the top right corner, ship's/aircraft's class name on the bottom.

Planes either have four of the type or a single plane for a seaplane spotter (since these tended not to go around in flights or squadrons!).

Overall I think they look the biz, they caused me enough headaches getting them out I certainly hope they are to a standard people can like lots.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my query--if they are going to look like the excellent quality ACTA counters then I will buy a set.

Not in the main rules. There will be a full fleet list in a future S&P article (we have the submission and it is in the process of being edited), and no doubt some counters are going to be produced for that. (I say with trepidation in my voice as the fear of having to do more counters enters my heart.......)

Any plans for using small boats+other ships for coastal actions?

Would like to see counters for S-boats,Vorpostenbootes,Fairmile MGB's,PT boats,Daihatsu barges,small merchants,LST/LSI's,and of course Russian G5 Torpedo boats and gunboats!

I see the VaS counter sheets are scheduled for next month;is there a pic of any of the sheets/individual counters available to see?

Even the pic for the ACTA countersheets had shown the counter sheet well enough for one to see what they looked like--got two sets after seeing that pic!
