As some of you who keep up with US military affairs may know, Whidbey Island NAS [a bit NW of Seattle in Puget Sound] had an EA-18G Growler aircraft crash east of Mt. Rainier a few days ago. VAQ-130 Squadron Commander CDR Timothy Warburton has announced that the two aircrew are confirmed deceased. The names of the aircrew have not yet been released.
