Two Enterprises

I've just based my VaS American fleet (not painted by me), and there could only be one name for the aircraft carrier.

Scales are very similar: 1/3000 and 1/3125.

That carrier looks like a Lexington class rather than a Yorktown.

I think the stack and bridge on the Yorktowns (including Enterprise)', were essentially trucked together.

As a point of comparison, ADB posted a few WIP pics of their own take on the USN Yorktown-class in this thread.

(I would imagine that, as the miniature range set to support v2.0 of Victory at Sea expands, there will be more and more opportunities to pair up certain historical warships with their namesakes in Star Fleet.)

Huh. I think you are right. I guess I shouldn't believe everything ebay sellers write!

Easy enough to just change the label or simply call the starship Constitution as that was the name of one of the other Lexington class BC's that was scrapped instead of being converted to a carrier after the 1921 Wasington Treaty.

Label has been ripped off. :) I will rename it and post new pictures.

I checked the other ships I bought and found two other mis-named ships. One of which I can't dentify. :?

Post a picture so I can see what you have, then i can tell you what ship it is. Otherwise your ships look great both of them.

It is approx 145m long, about the same length as a Bogue, but has a narrower flight deck.

In 1/3000, assuming it is a Navwar model, I think it's a US Casablanca class or the UK equivalent which I believe would be an Ameer.

I'm a 1/6000 guy so I'm more familiar with Hallmark's range.

Is that carrier metal or resin or possiblely plastic reason I ask is it looks custom made. the edges are a little off, to rounded on the rear. The front is too shaped not square enough on the front edges. now assuming it is US the closest carrier is Commencement Bay CVE 105.

Looking at the UK I would guess Class, Nairana D05 almost dead on
