Well I clunked down my money for the PDF of VaS even though it doesn't contain counters. After all, I have enough ships to play a good number of engagements. However, the PDF does not contain any Turn Gauges or the Firing Arc Templates. Any chance we can get a downloadable version on the website so we can actually play the game?

Well I just noticed that Drivethru RPG has VAS now. It's selling for $20.97 and INCLUDES COUNTERS. So that means that both Wargamingonline and DTRRPG are selling the product with counters at the same price as RPGNOW does with counters. The really strange thing here is that DTRPG and RPGNOW are owned by the same group.
Now I've got plenty of minis. Enough to proxy in enough ships for most scenarios anyway. But it's just the principle of the thing. I don't understand why Mongoose is offering the counters everywhere but RPGNOW.
So what's up?
Will the counter downloads be offered to the people who ordered thru RPGNOW? Or are we out of luck?

By the way, before I seem to ungrateful I wanted to mention one thing. When I first posted about the turn gauges I got an e-mail letting me know that one would be sent to me monday. I should have known they would look at the counters download issue then as well.

I am a member of Drivethru, and RPGNOW. They all update their users, with any changes to their PDF's. So if Mongoose ammend their PDF, the people who bought the PDF's before the change, will get the update.
Of course thats if you actually see sense in using PDF's, there are some characters on here who see it as 'Bad Voodoo Magic' :twisted:
