This came to mind in another thread when reading peoples opinions on multiple poses & female sculpts.

In Sci-Fi miniature gaming, I prefer my models to be 80% in shooting poses with only specialists & squad leaders to be in other poses (pointing, spotting, etc...) A mix of standing & maybe 20% kneeling while shooting. I just think it feels better on the boards.

What poses do you prefer? Do you mind alot of not shooting MI or do you like the feel of battle in them?

I mostly like a mix of poses. I do prefer to have a majority of my figures in a movement pose, it seems more natural looking on the table to me.

I prefer shooting for grunts as well. Not to big on "action" poses as that's very subjective per artist and usually I'm not keen on what they think "action" means.

lol "action means" Nice one. I prefere shooting poses and some running poses. Great for fleeing models :D

Well, I prefer static poses, followed by action poses, but I think the new MI models have a few too many kneeling posed figures. In any squad only a max of 2 characters should be in a kneeling pose, but off hand i think if i remember right, that the new MI models have more than too "kneelers". I'd better get my clippers ready!

Yeah, I really need those fleeing models too as that's very much likely to happen with my troops!
